It is with great sadness that the East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association (EPX) recognizes the passing of our friend and fellow Board member, Stephanie Dellavalentina. Stephanie passed away at her home on Sunday, September 13th.
In memory of Stephanie’s love and involvement with our Community Garden, EPX will be raising funds for a memorial planting in her honor. EPX will also make donations to PAWS and Cooks Who Care, local non-profit organizations that support two of her passions. Stephanie was a dedicated EPX Executive Board member for several years. She will be remembered as a committed community member who was generous with her time and energy, and quick to crack a joke or offer a warm smile. She will be deeply missed.Saturday October 17th at 2PM there will be a Memorial Gathering for Stephanie DellaValentina at Central Green Park. This event is not hosted by EPX, but the organizers asked that it be shared. Please wear masks and social distance.
